School Story:
I attended Lincoln from grades 7 thru 10. In 1966 we were transfered to LCHS and I graduated in 1968.
As I reflect, I owe a great deal to all my teachers at Lincoln. They, unlike my subsequent teachers, got to know me as an individual, and I in turn got to know them as well. They all had high expectations for us and always provided encouragement. Oftentimes they would tell things that we did not want to hear, but they were the things that we needed to hear.
Mr. Terry, Ms. Cora, Mrs. Avery, Prof. Fenner, and Mr. McCloud, to name just a few, were wonderful teachers. They were all compassionate and deeply committed to transforming the minds and lives of young people. Thanks for the influence that you have had on my life.
